These Giclée Reproductions of paintings by Jacqueline Penney are only available at the Jacqueline Penney Art Gallery & Studio. The word Giclée, (pronounced zhee-clay) comes from the French and means ''to spray'' or ''to spurt.'' It is an individually produced, high-resolution reproduction done on a large format printer. The images are produced from digital scans of existing artwork and can be printed on canvas and/or watercolor paper. The colors are brighter than lithography prints and last much longer. Penney's Giclées can be reproduced in any size in proportion to the original painting. The high definition Giclée reproductions are printed on canvas and then stretched over a frame. They can also be printed on high-quality paper that will require mat and framing which is not included in the price of the print. |
